Industrial illustrations

This weekend I was aiming to complete another illustration that linked to my target audience of visionary. I also wanted the illustrations I carried out to link to my overall theme of 'industrial' for my final garment, therefore I have been researching into illustrations linking to this theme. I came across these two illustration both from the same unknown illustrator, which I immediately thought we're great for my theme, the media used were perfect and the way they are carried out just made me think 'industrial' straight away, so I'd be stupid not to try and recreate their work but in my own style wouldn't I? So this is my challenge for today, I'll post my own version up later when it's complete.
