SPEC DRAWINGS

-After toiling each garment, I have gone back and amended any adjustments on the spec drawings for each garment/outfit

OUTFIT 3- TOILE

- After completing outfit 1 and 2, i was then ready to start on outfit 3 (jumpsuit)

- as the bottom half of my jumpsuit would be the same as the trouser pattern in outfit 1 I decided to start on the top half of the jumpsuit to make that create before connecting the bottom half to the top

-KIMONO BLOCK

-FACING

 - CALICO TOILE

- V BACK NEEDS TO BE EXECUTED CORRECTLY- FACING CUT ON THE FOLD INSTEAD

 - PATTERN FROM OUTFIT ONE TROUSERS

-AS I WAS CREATING THE WAISTBAND FOR THE JUMPSUIT WITH THE TOP AND BOTTOM
- I ADDED 5CM TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT AND BACK TOP

- I ALSO GOT RID OF THE BACK DARTS AS IT WAS TO TIGHT AROUND THE WAIT

- ADDED 7CM TO THE TROUSERS PATTERN

CONTINUING TOILE OF OUTFIT TWO

- after adjusting my pattern on the mannequin I decided to make another small toile of the difficult area.

-Once I had created a toile of the difficult shoulder area, I noticed that one shoulder pleat was sitting perfectly on the shoulder seam but the other side wasnt sitting inline.

 - therefore I went back to my back pattern and measured from the centre back line to the fold line, which is when i found out that one side was larger than the other.

 - to fix this problem I decided to create a pattern that would be cut on the fold so I would know for sure each side would be identical, making the problem of the shoulder seams not fitting solved.

CONCEPT VIDEO

- after collecting my feedback from my previous brief to gain a higher grade i had to revisit my iMovie concept and recreate it using my improved directors research.
